Today I went to get a couple bagels for my mom while she was having her radiation treatment across the street. As the service was quick and really nice, the bagels were really hard to chew. They were hard and I didn't end up eating it. So I ended up not eating and it took my mom a hlf hr to eat it..so thumbs up to the employees but not so much the bagels

Never witnessed a more poorly managed deli in my life. Every time I come here there is 4-5 people “working” behind the counter. Realistically 1 or 2 are actually working and helping customers, when the other 2-3 just stand there and walk around with their heads up in the sky. This morning I was the only person on line at 7am and 4 people were behind the counter, it took 3 minutes for someone to help me. Because of the management this place doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

The long line might lead you to believe they're worth it (the bagels are amazing) but only if you actually get what you order, which only happens about half the time. CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. You will order a bagel with strawberry cream cheese and end up getting whatever they feel like putting on it. And apparently customers who call ahead from right outside the door can skip the line. Because that's really fair. Their bagels are good but it's just not worth the hassle. A bagel is a bagel.

Don't go there if you're in a rush. This has got to be the slowest food place I've ever been to. The bagels are mediocre at best

Horrible customer service, I stopped going there, because last time I went the lady was nasty, very rude..great bagels But they need to check their attitude problem.

He has been suspended from the club and he will not be allowed to come to Bagel Boss. I will reward the shop $100.00 and 5 stars. If only of the girls would not allow him in. Good Bagels, but you might get bloodied up and mocked by the staff getting them. Or they might get your order wrong. Or they might all be hanging out in the back at 730 am on a Saturday and it will still take 30 minutes to get a bagel with no line. Sometimes they'll sell you yesterdays bagels at 6 am without any head-sup. And that's the ones they don't ship to their other store Bagel Brunch that they don't tell you is affiliated and old bagels.

Have every kind of bagel that you want it is a busy place so have patience when you go there the person that waited on us it's very nice

The food there is great the only thing that I don't like about the place is the line. The line is always long it goes from from the people taking your order to the door. However the staff there are very nice people.

Not the best. Not the worst. Not very friendly. Not mean. Not very clean. Tables needed to wiped down. Tastes is okay. They overcook the bacon. They also didnt put napkins in the bag.

Been coming here for years but today I was totally turned off. Seen a good amount of fruit flies on the bagels. When we informed the worker they did not even seem to care just looked & said “oh yeah” & continued to work. Disgusting !! will not be coming back here at all !

When you think New York Bagel THIS is what you are thinking about. Been visiting this location for 10+ years and the service and bagels are great. Egg bagel is my go to but they have a ton of variety.

Asked for a ham egg and cheese. The guy I ordered from did not speak English well. Needed help with the register and told the other man "no huevos" I then asked if he just said no eggs? There are eggs right? Guess what no eggs. Please make sure your employees who take orders can communicate with your customers. They also forgot to toast one of our bagels but we didn't stop him when he started making it so as not to make a big deal, they were busy. But the no egg is too much. Edit: came back a few days later. The woman who took my order coughed multiple times without covering her mouth right above the baskets with all the bagels in them. I immediately left without another word and will never be back. DISGUSTING.

This place made it to my shortlist of bagel places in Long Island so I had a little get together here last week. Staff is really a bunch of down-to-earth guys and I'm especially fond of the manager who overlooks the operations - no low standards at all. Just make sure you're not short of money when coming here.

Slow and disorganized. For every one customer they ring up 3 people that wait on line leave. It took 40 minutes for an egg sandwich and there were only 4 people ahead of me.

Your reaction to the “short man” is nothing but gross. Free mini bagel giveaway? But she wasn’t mocking him? Yeah. But you’re mocking him now. If I mention your morbidly obese worker who was interviewed, do I get a free bagel smeared with pig fat?! Mmmmm.

Three people behind the counter.... no one in front of me... in fact all they where doing was wiping the counter down... took about 15 minutes for one of the older guys who was toasting a bagel to finally ask if anyone was helping me. Oh on top of it I also had 3 people behind me. Everytime I come here it is always a long wait. It has come to a point that the only reason why I still come here is because they are the only ones still open after 2ish.

Owner needs to sell this place. Doesn't seem like he or anyone cares about customer service There are far too many bagel places on long Island

Love mornings in this place. Best coffee, and friendly service I've come across. Great egg sandwiches, and an exceptional crumb cake are also worth mentioning. But by far, it's the energy there, where beautiful people come together as if to celebrate Bagel Boss East and its great success.

Terrible service and only adequate (but nothing special) bagels makes this place a must-skip experience. Every time I've been there over the years the people behind the counter have been either rude or negligent or both. The lines are long, and don't even try using the text-your-order option. You'll stand at the counter waiting for 30 minutes to pick up your bagels while every employee avoids making eye contact with you or just blatantly refuses to respond to you. Management doesn't care either or try to help. Truly awful.

This bagel place is conveniently in the center of town and unfortunately the only place I can order breakfast from without traveling far. Workers are not friendly, with the exception of a few. The wait is very long and on top of that they ALWAYS get my orders wrong. Not worth the wait or $$$. Message to the owners: Give back to your community that keeps you in business & do better.

Wide selection of bagels and good breakfast sandwich

This place has gone so down hill in the past 10 years its so sad. I don't know if the guy Mike still owns it but if he does he needs to take a look around. Unless the bagels are just out of the oven they are stale. The service is HORRIBLE. One woman was standing in the back just chatting with a worker while the line is out the door. Then another women is waiting on people chewing food with her mouth open. If you are waiting for a cooked sandwich forget it they are so slow. There are so many other bagel stores go somewhere else.

Bagel Boss is a small bagel shop in Bay Shore Commons. It’s located near Stop & Shop and other food joints. The bagels are delicious, and the rest of the food is pretty tasty. However, the lines are quite unorganized, and you will probably end up waiting for 5-15 minutes depending on your order. This place is typically busy and packed all day, especially around 8-11 a.m. But, if you are willing to wait, then I recommend Bagel Boss. They also have delicious pastries.

1st x ever here. Had Dr appt in area, my son & I wanted quick bite to eat. We each Had chicken cutlets w mayo on onion rolls warm. It was delicious! They have tables inside we sat to eat. Very busy w a line but had enough workers line went fast. Definately recommend going here

Great Bagels. This place has taught me two things. 1. Bagels and coffee are a must to start the day off right. 2. Dating sites are no place for short men.

Everyone is so rude in this place especially the old guy with the white hair and this old lady with blonde hair. They are extremely rude. If you do uber, or door dash or grubhub, dont even go there. You have to wait at least 30 minutes for your order. One time they even forgot to make my uber order like wth? But whatever. I’m not going back! Not worth the headache!

went to bagel boss in bayshore early this morning during quarantine and got great service with an even better egg sandwich. Thank you for opening up your doors this early for us people still working 🙌🏼 10/10!

Fresh baked bagels every morning. Great breakfast sandwiches. The best veggie cream cheese on Long Island.

This was my first time here and will be my last. The person that took my order was not friendly at all, no good morning or are you being helped she started by telling me Im on the wrong line, meanwhile another server just took an order from the people at that same counter. I didnt even have a chance to tell her it was my first time there and was unsure where I was supposed to order. She finally did take my order though, only to get home and find it was wrong. To the owners if you are reading this 1) get customer service training for your workers and 2) put up signs that clearly state where to place your orders and where to pick them up so people are not all over the place.

The food was good. It's kind of hard to mess up a bacon egg and cheese. The customer servcie is not up to standard. There are 8 yes eight people working up front and it took 3 minutes to place my order with no one in front of me. Most of the staff was bickering about their job except the one lady with the tattoo on her neck. She was the most help by far

I went there today after seeing the viral video. I walked in at 3:55pm, they close at 4pm. After all the fame I expected them to be open at least a few minutes late. They refused to serve me even though I walked in at 3:55pm. The girl was smug and just said "we are closed", no apology at all. Very rude people.

I went here yesterday to get 2 bagels with chicken salad. When the cashier rung me up it was $17 and change!!!! Even one of the other employees questioned the price, but the cashier said that was the price on her menu pricing chart. An employee who has been there for some time said the owner raised the prices because of cost increases. However, they raised their prices $1 per sandwich which I thought was excessive. The employee who mentioned the price increase said they always have a line out the door. I said it won't be much longer if the prices are being raised by that much

I'm very happy with this bagel place the bagels I went there at noon and they were so soft I've never had a bagel so soft and so good before this is definitely my new spot and they should everyone should write them 5 Stars cuz they're pretty good

VERY skimpy on the cream cheese. Usually bagel stores drown bagels in toppings, I had to add cream cheese from my home to make it edible. 1st time at this location, very disappointing.

They make fun of short people who was bullied all his life due to his height. Adding fuel to the fire, they offer free mini bagel for limited time.
